How we score online casinos: five tests, one stamp per test
Method · sources · who writes this site
The score out of 5 on this site measures one thing only: how many of the rules that protect your money you can check in writing before you deposit. Here are the rules of the score, where the facts come from, what we leave out and who writes.
A score is only useful if you can see how it was made. The one behind our register of trusted online casinos in Chile is deliberately narrow: it does not say where you will have the most fun or where you will win. It says how many of the rules about money are written down where you can check them.
The five tests and how they score
| Test | 1 point | ½ point | 0 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Licence in force | Active (Curaçao) or valid with more than 90 days left (Anjouan) | Valid with less than 90 days left | Missing or not in force |
| Domain on the certificate | The certificate names the domain you play on | — | It names a different domain |
| Verification in writing | A clause or text saying when or how documents are asked for | — | Not stated in what we read |
| Withdrawal cap in writing | A written maximum per day, week or month | — | Not stated |
| Chile absent from the restricted list | Complete list read and Chile absent | — | No list, incomplete list, or Chile included |
The score is the sum, with no adjustment by hand. The result as of 19.09.2026:

Where the facts come from
Licence registers. On 18 September 2026 we searched each domain at cert.cga.cw (Curaçao) and in the public Anjouan licence register, from a server in the Netherlands. We copied the number, the holder, the date granted, the status and, for Anjouan, the expiry date.
Each casino's terms. Read on the casinos' own pages. We noted the clause and the exact wording on verification, on withdrawal caps and on restricted countries.
What we do not use. Archived copies of old terms, reviews on other sites, «payout time» tables with no source, what the support chat says. If a page did not load live, the test goes unstamped, even where an old copy exists.
Why a dash is not an accusation
Seven casinos have two stamps because their terms would not load from our server: some block connections from data centres, others show their legal pages only to a full browser. That says nothing bad about them. It says we could not check what a player ought to be able to check, and that is what the score measures. When we can read those terms, the certificates get updated.
What we do not measure
- Payout times. We played with our own money only at Vave: two withdrawals paid are not a statistic.
- Games, bonuses and customer support. They change every week and say nothing about whether you will be paid.
- The chance of winning. The house edge does not depend on whether a casino is trustworthy.
- Casinos that are not in the register. We give no score to brands we did not assess, good or bad.
Vave, outside the score
Vave comes first in the list and carries no score, because we know more about it than what is written down: it is the only one where we played with our own money, and the score out of 5 only measures paperwork. Even so, we put it through the five tests in its review, with the result in plain sight. It is also the casino where we played with our own money: one crypto deposit and two withdrawals paid, on 28 August and 2 September 2026, with no documents asked for.
None of the thirteen scored casinos pays us anything. The one commercial link on the site is Vave's.
Who writes this site
It is written by a small desk that reads licence registers and casino terms. We do not sign with personal names: the method is the signature. If a fact changed after a page's reading date, what the register or the casino says is what counts, and we correct it.
The tests, explained with examples so that you can run them yourself, are in how to tell if a casino is trustworthy. How to look a licence up is in how to check a licence.
